Mark and Robin Segraves went on their first date after they were engaged to be married.  Nine weeks later, the morning after a major Idaho snowstorm and with people passing out (don't lock those knees), they were married.  That was almost 26 years ago (stick around and you might hear the whole crazy story).

Their son, Luke (23), is married to Elaine and recently finished serving in the U.S. Army.   When Elaine gave birth to their baby girl, Madison, in June of 2015, Mark and Robin became grandparents for the first time!  Their daughter, Christiana (18), loves to sing and dance and frequently performs in theatrical productions and with a show choir.  She's also part of the amazing Encounter Church youth worship team.

Mark and Robin love spending time with their kids and babies Madison and Liam, movies, singing and writing songs together, hikes, restaurants, books, golf, all kinds of music and dream of a real "beach vacation" (it hasn't happened yet) somewhere tropical.

Mark and Robin have been involved in ministry from the moment they said "I do".  This includes positions as youth pastor, worship pastor, choir director, associate pastor, senior pastor, author, college professor, seminary professor and multiple ministry excursions overseas (Mark loves India).

Mark earned the BA in Bible and Theology (1991), the MA in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Western Seminary (1999) and the PhD in psychology from Capella University (2005).  Mark has served on a bioethics committee for a hospital and as a mental health clinician, both in California.  He is currently an adjunct faculty member at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ.

The born again identity

Jesus instructed believers to live out their "God-created identity" (Matthew 5:48, MSG), but many struggle through life without a clear sense of who they are.  As a result, they fail to fully appropriate His blessing and power in their lives.  Satan's primary weapon against believers is identity theft, but the Word of God offers the solution.  In The Born Again Identity, you will discover that you have an astounding, transforming identity bound up in your identification with Christ.

You are not who Satan says you are.

You are not who others say you are.

You are not even necessarily who you feel or think you are.

You are who God has declared you to be.
